EDGEWATER, CO — Sundrop Pilates, Edgewater’s infrared heated mat-Pilates studio, today announces the launch of Sundrop Ski Club, a six-week training program designed to help women build strength, stability and endurance for ski season.
Ski season starts long before opening day. Sundrop Ski Club includes 12 classes over six weeks, pairing one HOT class each week, focused on deep core strength and stability, with one HEAVY class built around lower-body strength and cardiovascular endurance for long days on the mountain. The program is designed for all levels, whether someone is preparing for their first ski season or looking to feel stronger and more confident tackling their favorite terrain.
“I injured my knee on the mountain a few years ago, and Pilates is what got me back on skis,” said Madison Romer, founder of Sundrop Pilates. “It not only taught me how important strength and stability are in recovery, but how important they are in preparation. Sundrop Ski Club is specifically designed to prepare you for the unique strength and cardio demands of skiing. We want women to show up to opening day feeling strong, confident, and ready to send it.”
The program culminates in a Ski Day at Arapahoe Basin on December 12, giving participants a chance to put their training to work and celebrate the season ahead together. The Ski Day will include round-trip transportation to Arapahoe Basin, breakfast and lunch, drinks, a live DJ, a custom Sundrop Ski Club gaiter, exclusive Halfdays merchandise and a swag bag. Space is limited to 30 participants.
Sundrop Ski Club is open to members and non-members alike, with unlimited membership pricing at $250 and non-member pricing at $550, both of which include the December 12 Ski Day. Women who sign up by October 8 can lock in early bird pricing at $200 and $500, respectively.
